Adherence to postmenopausal hormone therapy during the year after the initial prescription: a population-based study
Article Abstract:
Women who use continuous combined hormone therapy less likely to stop than women who use sequential hormone therapy. Continuous hormone therapy is taken every day of the month whereas sequential hormone therapy is not. In a study of 204 women, 54% of those on sequential therapy quit after the first year compared to 69% of those taking continuous therapy.

Dose of progestin in postmenopausal-combined hormone therapy risk of endometrial cancer
Article Abstract:
The impact of progestin dose on the risk of endometrial cancer is examined where results reveal that combination of progestin dose with hormone therapy appears to affect this risk. Among users of continuous combined hormone regimen, risk of endometrial cancer was low, regardless of medroxyprogesterone acetate dose.
