Article Abstract:
Design variations in rental cars pose potential dangers to the renters and the traveling public at large because of the different placements of vital instruments such as horns, headlights, high-low beam and seat-belt clasps. Automobile manufacturers should develop a single standard for rental cars to elevate the levels of safety in such vehicles. However, only features that are to be used in emergency situations need to be standardized. Other switches and equipment, such as cruise control, should not be included.

Check toxins at the door

Federal regulators and health experts have struggled to address issues regarding home contamination problems due to lack of available information about them. According to accidental reports, family members who have been exposed to harmful chemicals and toxins from industrial sites may face the risk of developing fatal diseases including asbestosis, lung diseases and bladder cancer. Some companies have addressed the problem by educating employees on the hazardous effects of toxins and chemicals on the body.
