Antidepressant warning focuses attention on unmet need for child psychiatrists
Article Abstract:
The controversial waning for antidepressants highlight a widening gap between the needs of the US children and adolescents with significant depression as well as the nation's relatively small number of trained psychiatrists. A growing recognition of this unmet need has led to collaboration between family medicine practitioners, and psychiatrists to formulate and promote guidelines and other measures.

The risks of the smoking cessation drug varenicline or antiepileptic drugs are put forth by FDA. Many neuropsychiatric symptoms are identified with these drugs.
