Article Abstract:
The self-reported duties carried out by sisters and charge nurses working on the wards are investigated and the attitudes of the health care professionals towards their management role are assessed. Sisters and charge nurses treat clinical care as a higher priority than their managerial and administrative duties and lack of time is a barrier to the successful fulfillment of their role.
