Most treatments for hair loss in women are ineffective, except Rogaine. Shampoos and hair extensions work only superficially, and vitamins do not work at all. The maker of Rogaine report only 19% of women treated with the drug experience moderate hair growth.

New cure for wrinkles?

The cosmetics industry's latest attempt to fight wrinkles is by using alpha-hydroxy acids. Solutions of from 1% to 12% acid are claimed to help everything from wrinkles to enlarged pores. The acid removes the dead skin.
