Article Abstract:
In the tradition of medical researchers who test new techniques on themselves some of the plagues of daily life are investigated. It is impossible to gauge to odor of one's breath and a second subject is required to perform the experiment. Other self experiments, such as the health effects of eating only fast food for a week and the effects of fiber on flatulence and bowel movements are presented.

Article Abstract:
The author conducted several unscientific research projects focusing on his own health and behavior. In one study, he ate only food from McDonald's for one week. In another, he increased doubled his fiber intake for a week. Memory, marital communication and driving style were also tested. Results are presented humorously.

Several self-examinations and that can determine physical and mental healthfulness are identified. Among the things that can be tested are bad breath, effects of frequent eating at fast food establishments, benefits of driving recklessly, and the effects of eating a high-fiber diet.
