Linda Espinosa, a language specialist and professor of early childhood education at the University of Missouri-Columbia reveals that if parents create a high-pressure situation for their child to learn a second language, there is a danger the child would eventually rebel against learning it. Researches support the view that it is best to start teaching a child a foreign language as early as possible.
