Brain scan may predict schizophrenia
Article Abstract:
The structural magnetic resonance imaging is used to scan the brains of people with a family history of schizophrenia to predict those who might develop the disease. The brain scan method can be used as an early predictor for schizophrenia and can also allow physicians to determine who would benefit from interventions to help delay or prevent the disease.
