Campaigning nurses: The ethical dilemma
Article Abstract:
A clear indication among nurses to think politically and campaign for their beliefs on both a local and national scale is observed, however, it is not clear where to draw the ethical line between cause and career. The NMC's new code of conduct will offer clear guidance on joining campaigns, endorsing political parties and dealing with the media and they also advice registrants to check with their employer before becoming involved with a campaign or endorsing a political party.

What shapes a desire to care?
Article Abstract:
A nurse entered the nursing profession believing she wanted to help others, but soon discovered her true psychological motivations, which included the desire to be needed. She believes this desire to be needed keeps nurses from fighting for the recognition that their profession deserves.
