Article Abstract:
The case study of an 84-year-old man, who was transferred to hospital due staphylococcal bacteremia and renal failure, is presented. A day-by-day account of the patient's progress is presented together with a discussion on the diagnoses reached, namely, glomerulonephritis and acute tubular necrosis, as well as the line of treatment used.
