Case 40-2005: An 18-year-old man with a one-month history of nontender left mandibular swelling
Article Abstract:
A case study of an 18-year-old man suffering from left mandibular swelling with reference to diagnosis and management of cystic lesions of the jaw is presented. The panoramic radiograph revealed a large and loculated radiolucency of the left mandible with inferior displacement of the left mandibular third molar and evidence of root resorption of the left mandibular second molar.

Case 2-2004: a 32-year-old man with pain and swelling of the jaw
Article Abstract:
The diagnosis and treatment of a 32-year-old man with a type of bone cancer called osteosarcoma in his lower jaw are reviewed. Osteosarcoma is a rare cancer and only occurs in the jaw in 10% of all cases. The patient was successfully treated with surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation.

A 14-year-old boy with abnormal bones and a sacral mass
Article Abstract:
A 14-year-old boy with bone pain and a mass at the end of his spine was diagnosed with a type of bone cancer called osteosarcoma. He responded well to chemotherapy but was found to also have acute lymphocytic leukemia.
