Causation: a loosely founded concept in epidemiology
Article Abstract:
Establishing causation involves several obstacles, and new methods that are more dynamic and supported by scientific principles have to be created. Elucidating c ausation has scientific, political, biomedical, health policy and ethical implications, and new epidemiologic findings have to be approached with caution. Using the concept of causation is discussed.
