Cluster headache: phrenology revisited?
Article Abstract:
Modern morphometry can be used to detect anatomical abnormality in the brain in functional headaches. In daily medical practice, conventional brain imaging is used for diagnosis, but some very basic questions about the brain have not been answered. A certain brain region may be structurally different in a person, but that is not necessarily sufficient to prove that the anatomical change leads to cluster headache.

Tyrosine kinases: Maiming myelin in leprosy
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to examine a contact-dependent mechanism by which Mycobacterium leprae, the bacterium that causes leprosy, induces peripheral nerve demyelination. Findings reveal that the breakdown process of myelin could be blocked at the receptor activation stage by Herceptin and PK166 or at the Erk1/2 phosphorylation stage using the MEK inhibitor UO126.
