Article Abstract:

Strategies for making more organs available for transplantation
Article Abstract:
Strategies to increase the number of donated organs include using kidneys from older donors, splitting one liver so it can be used for two patients, and even using one kidney or part of a liver from a living person. Each year, about 100,000 Americans who might benefit from a transplant die without receiving one.
