Roles and responsibilities
Article Abstract:
The relationship between supervisor and supervisee is a key factor in the success or failure of clinical supervision. Both the supervisor and the supervisee must be fully aware from the beginning of their roles and responsibilities if supervision is to be constructive and dynamic. The supervisee must be willing to be fully involved in the reflective elements of supervision, and must be aware of his or her current level of development. The supervisor must be in a position to identify a pathway for the supervisee to make progress.
