Congress revisits regulatory relief bill
Article Abstract:
The members of Congress are revisiting the regulatory relief for physicians and other Medicare players while the Bush administration is attempting to pass the legislation and has already adopted many of the billEs measures on its own. The bill is likely to undergo some revisions to cut those measures that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services have implemented without congressional direction.

CIGNA settles class-action suit on pay issues
Article Abstract:
The conditions accepted by CIGNA Healthcare in relation to settlement of a lawsuit filed by physicians are described that led to an agreement to implement some policies allowing doctors relief in terms of insurance. The physicians involved in the suit believe the settlement to be a good step toward better interaction between doctors and insurers.
