Deadline near for electronic payment of payroll taxes
Article Abstract:
All medical practices which made at least $50,000 in Federal 941, 945 or Ct-l payments in 1995 must file tax payments electronically, effective July 1, 1997. Practices will pay through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) system, via either the debit or credit method. Medical practices choosing the ACH credit method will deal directly with their financial institutions. Practices choosing the debit method will deal with one of two government-authorized financial institutions.
