Abdominal sacral colpopexy or vaginal sacrospinous colpopexy for vaginal vault prolapse: a prospective randomized study
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to compare the abdominal sacral colpopexy and vaginal sacrospinous colpopexy in the treatment of vaginal vault prolapse. The results showed that both are highly effective in the treatment of vaginal vault prolapse.

The study aims to determine whether there is an association among pelvic organ prolapse, constipation, and dietary fiber intake. It concluded that women with pelvic organ prolapse are at higher risk for constipation than controls.
