Body adornment and tattooing: clinical issues and state regulations
Article Abstract:
Health professionals can provide information on tattoos and body decoration, an increasingly popular notion among soldiers, women, and young teenagers. The technical aspects of getting a tattoo, possible complications, and the risk of transmitting a communicable disease are discussed. Safety recommendations and the implications of removing an unwanted tattoo are followed by a summary of state regulations.

Postpartum depression
Article Abstract:
Health care providers must educate themselves about postpartum depression and recognition of this easily missed disorder. Postpartum depression symptoms can range from a mild malaise to psychosis and diagnosis is often difficult. If symptoms are recognized, counseling, familial support, and/or medical intervention may be needed.
