The federal court judge in Miami will hear the CIGNA settlement case by examining the arguments for and against the CIGNA settlement proposal, originally filed in the federal court of Illinois in February 2003. The expectations of the doctors and physicians awaiting the result and the possible outcomes are discussed.

Aetna settlement nearing final stages of completion

The settlement between the physicians and the Aetna is at its final stage. The allegation by the physicians was that Aetna, a medical insurance company, interfered with the recommendations of treatments to patients. The improved process of claim handling at Aetna is described.
