Income guaran-tease
Article Abstract:
Income guarantees may seem strong incentives to accept a hospital's job offer, but doctors should be aware of the drawbacks involved. Income guarantees are used by hospitals to attract doctors and guaranty to make up any shortfall in a doctor's income up to a predetermined amount. Health reform legislation is expected to clarify the legal status of recruitment incentives, but until it is passed physicians are advised to examine income guarantee offers carefully.
