Article Abstract:
A case study of a 36-year-old woman suffering from chest pain in her 34th week of pregnancy, which may be the result of various conditions, ranging from benign to life-threatening diseases is presented. The patient's hospital course was complicated by an episode of ventricular fibrillation one day after the percutaneous coronary intervention and after three days, labor was induced and she delivered a healthy baby girl.

A 32-year-old man who developed chest pain and loss of consciousness after smoking crack cocaine was found to have an aortic dissection. Aortic dissection occurs when the aorta tears and blood begins to flow between the layers of the aorta.
