Power of the lobby
Article Abstract:
Nurses should lobby for a European perspective to nursing education. The Treaty on European Union, 1992 emphasises the benefits of foreign language education and international education courses. Nursing education should include European Community (EC) organisational information and skills to enhance job prospects in Europe. Students should consider EC issues in selecting colleges, debating health issues and initiating cooperative practice.
