Effects of estrogen therapy on hearing in postmenopausal women
Article Abstract:
Results of a study showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the treatment estrogen therapy (ET) and hormone therapy (HT) and control groups with respect to age, BMI, or time since the onset of menopause. ET may slow down hearing loss in aging postmenopausal women, though it is not fully confirmed.

Estrogen increases collagen I and III mRNA expression in the pelvic support tissues of the rhesus macaque
Article Abstract:
The effect of estradiol and raloxifene on collagen synthesis is studied, by measuring the expression collagen I and III mRNA. It concluded that estrogen increases collage gene transcription and indicates stimulation of collagen synthesis in pelvic floor connective tissues.
