Egg donation and human embryonic stem-cell research
Article Abstract:
Donating eggs is time-consuming, uncomfortable and potentially risky but without willing donors there will be less research on human embryonic stem cells. Some bioethicists argue hat egg donors should be compensated on the basis of the time and discomfort associated with the process not the number and quality of the eggs that are produced.
