Emerging from the shadows
Article Abstract:
The Hispanic immigrants population in the United States due to some reasons have preferred jobs that are risky and have less safety measures. Considering their safety aspects the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has introduced a new wing, OSHA's Hispanic Task Force agency in 2002. The responsibilities of the agency and the various programs it has introduced since its inception that include, Justice and Equality in the Workplace are discussed.

Emerging occupations raise risk management questions
Article Abstract:
Technological innovations in the workplace can lead to possible health risks for safety personnel and therefore the main function of workplace safety is to evaluate, monitor and mitigate hazards associated with these new innovations.
