When shingles wanes but pain does not

Patients experiencing chronic neuropathic pain that could be excruciating and debilitating often have difficulty describing the sensation and pinpointing its origin. Researchers are testing the effects of early, aggressive pain treatment for patients with shingles to see if it helps prevent development of chronic postherpetic neuralgia.

Report assesses effects of early nutrition options on atopic diseases
Article Abstract:
Results of a clinical report by American Academy of Pediatris on the effectiveness of early nutritional interventions on the development of atopic diseases such as asthma in high-risk infants are discussed. It is found that breastfeeding for the first four months could prevent atopic diseases.
