Cardiac monitoring
Article Abstract:
The assessment of the ventricular rate of a person can be best done by using the method of simultaneous monitoring of the apex beat and radial pulse, especially in patients having an atrial fibrillation. The methodology described helps in a more reliable and accurate measurement of the ventricular rate, as it is very much capable of ascertaining the presence of an apex beat-radical pulsde deficit.
