Evolutionary antecedents of abnormal personality
Article Abstract:
Traits of human histrionic personality such as attention seeking, suggestibility and exaggerated emotions can also be found in the behavior of animals. These behaviors share a common developmental origin and are caused by similar environmental situations. Different environmental, physiological and ecological factors are responsible for the specific variations in the behaviors and traits occurring across species. The more fundamental disturbance are the behavioral features which turn into a species-specific syndrome.

The emergence of species impartiality: a medical critique of biocentrism
Article Abstract:
Species impartiality views that all species are of equal moral importance and is the tenet behind biocentrism where humans are not given special treatment apart from other animal species. However, one must be partial to humans especially in the context of medical experimentation since they have attributes that set them apart from other animals such as language development, historical consciousness, culture, self-awareness and thequest for meaning.
