Exploration of the relationship between caring and cost
Article Abstract:
Caring nursing care, as practiced holistically, is subject to the cost constraints of the U.S. health care system. Cost control and its effect on care must be studied. Understanding of the effect of staffing changes, nursing responsibilities, and the costs of caring for patients is also necessary. What aspects of caring cost what to whom is the important question. Patient perceptions and satisfaction affect the cost-benefit relationship.

Facing Death: Donor and Recipient Responses to the Gift of Life
Article Abstract:
Societal norms interpret the meaning of a gift and the implied purpose of giving with both negative and positive connotations. Obligations are associated with a gift exchange.
