Eyeing a new route along an old pathway
Article Abstract:
Issues related to diagnosing glaucoma are examined, focusing on research that identifies the role of the endothelial leukocyte-adhesion molecule-1 (ELAM-1) in the disease. Topics include implication for pharmacological and genetic therapy for the disease, and the use of ELAM-1 for finding diagnostic markers of glaucoma.
