Factors contributing to poor concordance in health care
Article Abstract:
The nurses expect patients to follow advice but they do not always do so and this results in nonconcordance and the failure of the patients to follow the advice of health professionals is known as noncompliance that is generally considered to be a substantial problem. Some of the causes of poor concordance can be given as practical difficulties such as access to pharmacy, the problems with side effects in medication, interference with daily lives and intentional lack of concordance.

Making time for your patients
Article Abstract:
The job of a nurse is becoming too technical and too diverse in roles to maintain the original intention of hands-on patient care. The NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement has come up with a new approach that will not only increase the proportion of time staff spend on direct patient care but will also improve safety, staff well-being and get rid of activities that are not valuable to patients and staff.
