Fecal incontinence in US women: A population-based study
Article Abstract:
A study to determine the prevalence of fecal incontinence and associated risk factors in a broad age range of community-dwelling women is presented. In a large group of US community-dwelling women, fecal incontinence was a prevalent condition and some of the factors which are responsible include major depression, urinary incontinence and operative vaginal delivery.

Patient-centered surgical outcomes: The impact of goal achievement and urge incontinence on patient satisfaction one year after surgery
Article Abstract:
Study was conducted to assess factors that influence patient satisfaction after 1 year of pelvic reconstructive surgery. The result showed that symptoms or urge incontinence and reduced achievement of subjective surgical goals are associated with decreased long-term patient satisfaction after reconstructive pelvic surgery.
