Food choices in primary care: A summary of the evidence
Article Abstract:
The factors, which influence food choice in primary care, are highlighted, giving emphasis on those studies that are most relevant to nurses. It is suggested that, as there are unanswered questions regarding which health care providers can have the greatest effect on patients' diets, a study comparing, for example dietitians, pharmacists, general practitioners and practice nurses using the same intervention technique would be useful.
