Food for thought: campaign for vegetarian policy at animal shelters' events
Article Abstract:
Animal Place launched a new campaign - Food for Thought: Adopting an Animal Friendly Menu, an educational outreach to adopt a vegetarian policy for shelter-sponsored events and becoming consistent in our compassion and behavior toward all species. People in the society have two-dimensional attitude towards animals, one is regarding animals as pets and as companions or children and the other is slaughtering it for food.
