Power yoga, unlike traditional yoga, involves continuous and rigorous poses and movements designed to strengthen and stretch muscles. The workout, which was developed by Beryl Bender Birch and husband Thom, does not require chants and focuses on deep-breathing. A four-week workout program is also provided.
