The management of animal and human bite wounds
Article Abstract:
Large numbers of people are bitten by animals and a small number by humans, the consequences of which can be serious. The possible complications of bite wounds and treatment options are discussed, and it is suggested that better health education to help prevent bites and teaching a bite-avoidance strategy may help reduce the problem.
