Genetics and pathophysiology of human obesity
Article Abstract:
This review discusses recent research on the genetics and pathophysiology of obesity in humans and their implications in the obesity treatment. Research findings link signals such as leptin, insulin, and ghrelin to hypothalamic neuropeptide systems. However, scientific evidence suggests that obesity is extremely complex, polygenic process, and redundant systems in hre body resist weight loss.

Exercise-induced ventricular arrhythmias in patients with no structural cardiac disease
Article Abstract:
A study is conducted on the clinical and genetic disorders associated with exercise-induced ventricular arrhythmias in patients with normal hearts. Results showed that these patients showed ventricular premature beats and polymorphic ventricular tachycardia in response to exercise or on exposure to catecholamines.
