Genomics and malaria control
Article Abstract:
Study of the human genome helps to identify malaria-parasite receptors and molecules related to pathological processes or resistance. Multilateral initiatives and partnerships between industry and nongovernmental organization are required to ensure malaria genomics to cure affected populations.

COL4A1 mutations and hereditary angiopathy, nephropathy, aneurysms, and muscle cramps
Article Abstract:
A study to trace the gene which could be the cause of multicystic kidney diseases, cramps and aneurysms in humans is conducted. Results indicate that mutation of the COL4A1 gene as the possible cause of the conditions.
