Giving pain relief
Article Abstract:
Community pain clinics, each consisting of four nurses and one senior healthcare assistant, were launched in 2004, in Lincolnshire, UK, with an intention to reduce the waiting times for patients and ensure patients faster, more convenient access to pain relief. Work undertaken by three nurse-led in Lincolnshire are discussed.
