Article Abstract:
Advocates for the globalization of public health argue that many health issues cannot be resolved through national policies, and that threats to public health transcend national boundaries. However, some argue that transnational health problems are not new and that the globalization of health could cause problems for some nations. Despite these issues, it is likely that some type of transnational health policy will be developed during the 21st century.
