Behavior-based safety breaks new ground in construction
Article Abstract:
The construction industry presents several challenges associated with the implementation of behavior-based safety programs. The changing work forces and workplaces in the industry significantly contribute to efforts to develop workplace safety based on people's actions and behaviors. Another unique problem in implementing behavior-based safety programs correlate with ways to monitor such programs. In addition, building trust and teams are critical to the success of employee-based safety programs.
