Promote safety around the clock
Article Abstract:
Off-the-job safety is a scarcely applied concept by companies that could provide substantial benefits in terms of workers-compensation claims and employee productivity, among others. It is mutually advantageous for both parties, a must in daily routine and a gauge of the company's sincere interest on its workers' safety. A successful program need not be complicated. Tips include extending the application of current job-safety programs outside the office, contracting experts to talk on off-the-job safety measures, and providing employees with materials on family safety.
