The breath of a nation
Article Abstract:
The UK Royal College of Physicians (RCP) has developed a three question asthma management strategy which is aimed at reducing the suffering of people with asthma while cutting back on the 672 million pounds sterling spent each year by the National Health Service. The RCP claim the new guidelines should help asthma nurses and doctors to assist patients in taking a greater level of responsibility for their own illness. Asthma nurses believe the questions are already part of national asthma care procedures.
