Gulf war illness symptoms cited by non-Gulf vets
Article Abstract:
Results of a study conducted by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention showed that hundreds of US military personnel who never served in the Persian Gulf War suffered symptoms characteristic of the Gulf War illness. The findings also suggested that Gulf War illness among those who served in the war may be more widespread. Some of these symptoms of the Gulf War illness are chronic fatigue, muscle and joint pain, and loss of mental faculties.
