HIV infection, hepatitis C infection and HAART
Article Abstract:
Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) patients receiving highly active antiretroviral therapy (HAART) have shown abnormalities in hepatic function and liver disease has become a cause of morbidity. Co infection with HCV and HIV has become a common clinical problem and optimal treatment of such patients has to be defined and treatment must be given as per the individualEs requirements.
