HIV medication adherence: The intersection of biomedical, behavioral, and social science research and clinical practice
Article Abstract:
The relations and differences from the perspective of an HIV clinician and clinical researcher with a background in biology and an inclination toward behavioral and social science are explored to suggest some approaches for their resolution. Biomedical researchers and clinicians need to know and integrate with their own expertise an array of features of behavioral and social science research and expertise that could inform clinical research and clinical practice, improving the lives of people living with HIV disease.
