HIV transmission risk behaviour among men and women living with HIV in 4 cities in the United States
Article Abstract:
The prevalence and frequency of unprotected high-risk sexual and drug injection behaviors in a large sample of persons living with HIV infection in United States were determined to assess the associated risk of HIV transmission to their partners. This study was used to estimate the number of sexual partners who would acquire HIV as a consequence of sexual contact with the other partners.

Predicting HIV transmission risk among HIV-infected men who have sex with men
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to examine the predictors of transmission risk among HIV-infected men who have sex with men (MSM) in 4 US cities. Results of the study indicated that a small proportion of MSM reported at least 1 transmission-risk event in past 3 months, with 57 percent of those events taking place with casual as opposed to steady partners.

The influence of partner type and risk status on the sexual behavior of young men who have sex with men living with HIV/AIDS
Article Abstract:
The influence of partner type and risk status on the unprotected sexual behavior of young men living with HIV (YMLH) who have sex with men is examined. The result showed that partner characteristics influence the condom use behavior of YMLH that makes decisions regarding condom use based on perception of their partner's risk.
