Article Abstract:
There exists a general belief that nurses do not require the clinical management plan (CMP) as they have access to most of the British National Formulary (BNF). The use of CMP will decline as nurses develop more prescribing experience, but it will remain as a useful tool in prescribing treatments for some patients in particular situations.
