Hormone in the hot seat

The use of hormones estrogen and progesterone was announced by the scientists to increase the chances of breast cancer, heart attacks and strokes in the woman-undergoing menopause. Various investigations have already been tried to restore women's confidence in the hormones again, as it was later proved to be less hazardous but it is not a simple task to convince the world.

Asia's big problem
Article Abstract:
A given body mass index (BMI) shows that Asians have a higher body fat content and a higher risk for diabetes, high blood pressure and heart disease. Asians when judged by western standards of obesity shows large numbers of obesity and large numbers of at-risk people who are not getting proper screening, prevention or treatment.
